Zoltan Pinter joins the executive team of Brooks
Tropicals, Inc. As Vice President of
Administration, Zoltan will spearhead the continued expansion of the
firm’s Belizean papaya production, oversee the roll-out of new information
technology, and handle the company’s legal matters and government
relations.
Heartily welcomed
at Brooks, Zoltan’s multi-faceted skills
honed over a decade in the produce industry will be put to immediate use
meeting the market’s increased demand for Caribbean RedŽ and Caribbean SunriseŽ papayas.
Zoltan comes to
Brooks from Growers Express LLC, where he was Vice President of Corporate
Affairs. Before that he was Vice
President, General Counsel and Secretary for Fresh Del Monte Produce
Inc.
Born in Chile and raised in Miami, Zoltan is an avid produce
eater. As a cash-strapped college
student he didn’t pick his favorite eatery for their early bird special
but a late vegetable special where a diner could get three vegetables for the
price of two.
To some extent,
Zoltan has come full cycle. His first
job was bagging groceries in a Publix on Miami Beach. Now he’s heading up administrative
operations for a company that filled and continues to fill those grocery bags
with the best in tropical produce.
Zoltan, his wife
Cristina, and 7 year old daughter Victoria reside in Coral Gables.
