Brooks Tropicals, Inc. is pleased to announce the appointments of three new Vice Presidents.
Susan Kruse, formerly Human Resource Manager for the company, has been promoted to Vice President of Human Resources. As Vice President, Susan will manage domestic and international Human Resource related matters for the 950 employees of Brooks Tropicals. Susan will also direct Training Safety and other Personnel Programs within the organization. She has been with the company for 16 years.
Billy Pritchett, most recently Plant Manager for Brooks Tropicals, has been promoted to Vice President of Packaging Operations. Pritchett has been the force behind many technical improvements in Brooks’ packing operations. Recently, Pritchett doubled the capacity of Brooks’ papaya packinghouse, making this facility the largest of its kind in the Caribbean. He has been with Brooks Tropicals since 1991.
Kevin Bryan has been named Vice President of Tropicals Operations. Kevin comes from a longstanding Southwest Florida farm family. Since joining the company, Bryan has built Brooks’ Belize papaya farm into the largest shipper of papayas to the US. Bryan also manages the company’s Florida tropical fruit operations. Bryan has over 35 years experience farming tropical fruits and vegetables.
