Retail/Wholesale Info

  • Selection: Choose mangoes that yield with gentle pressure. Avoid fruit with grayish discoloration.
  • Storage Temp: 50-55°F
  • Humidity: 80-85%
  • Ethylene Production: Medium
  • Ethylene Sensitivity: High
  • Ripening: Ripen mango at room temperature until it yields to gentle pressure.
  • Package Size: 6ct-10ct, 12,14,16,18, and 20ct
  • Pallet: Flat- 204 boxes (approx.), Banana boxes - 50 boxes/pallet
  • Shelf-Life: Once ripe, keep mangoes in the refrigerator. They will last between two to three days. Pin-sized black spots are not defects, but characteristics of some varieties like Hadens. Chilling injury may occur when fruit is exposed to low temperatures.
  • Restrictions: Entry not permitted in AZ and CA, unless fruit is given a hot water bath.
